Since it's inception in 2007, the Springtime in New York Gala has brought together innovators in the media, medical, finance and tech industries who recognize kidney disease as an urgent public health issue.
Each year, two outstanding individuals are recognized for their dedication to NKF's work and mission.
Sean Moran, Head of Marketing & Partner Solutions at Viacom, will be honored with the Chuck Fruit Award of Excellence. This award honors an executive who, through personal and professional action, has set an example consistent with the one that was set by the late Chuck Fruit, former CMO of The Coca-Cola Company and kidney transplant recipient.
Co-Recipients of the Visionary Leader are Berlin Cameron, a creative agency represented by Jennifer DaSilva, President and, John Gerzema, Chief Executive Officer at The Harris Poll. This award recognizes an individual or group who exemplifies vision, extraordinary leadership, and philanthropy.
In the past eleven years, the Springtime in New York Gala has raised over $6 million and on April 12, 2018, will look to raise $550,000.
